Exclusive for RAMW Members: A Farm-To-Table Event In Celebration of Earth Week

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is a leading, independent restaurant linen service company serving the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. In celebration of Earth Week, it will kick off Dempsey’s campaign to champion awareness for sustainable business practices within the restaurant industry.

‘Head to Tail’ Tasting Menu
The Pig Chef, Michael Bonk will showcase the protein, complemented by seasonal, freshly picked produce from EatWell Natural Farm and delectable French artisan goat cheese made by Pipe Dreams Fromage. Beer and wine pairings will also be recommended.

Special Guest Speakers
EatWell Natural Farm Manager, Erica Porch, and Pipe Dreams Fromage Cheese maker, Brad Parker, will share their passion for farm-to-table cuisine discussing their backgrounds, daily operations on their farms and their interest in sustainable agriculture.

As the Farm-to-Table event on April 23 will focus on sustainable food, Dempsey is also planning a second event in the fall to focus on the operations, maintenance, and construction side of the equation for RAMW restaurant members.

Dempsey has also launched an advertising campaign “Farm-to-Table Linen” to dovetail their efforts in raising awareness among restaurant operators who want to green their supply chain as an extension of their sustainable practices.
