Bethesda’s Summer Restaurant Week Partners With Yellow Ribbon Fund

Get ready, Montgomery County food lovers! Bethesda-Chevy Chase Summer Restaurant Week runs Monday, July 29 through Sunday, August 4. With over 20 participating restaurants, metro-area deal seekers can enjoy a wide array of menu choices. Participating restaurants offer a two-course lunch for $12/$16 and/or a three-course dinner for $33. Visit the website for a complete listing of participating restaurants at

As always, this event promises tasty dishes at incredible prices. But this summer’s week-long event promises something more for the community. As part of the Restaurant Association of Maryland’s (RAM) new “Dine for a Cause” initiative, we have partnered with Bethesda’s own Yellow Ribbon Fund.

Founded in 2005, the Yellow Ribbon Fund works with Walter Reed National Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital to provide care and support for our nation’s wounded warriors and their caregivers. These efforts help to fill a gap by providing support for services not funded by the government, including: Housing and Transportation, Family Caregiver Support, Social Events, Mentoring, and Veteran Outreach.

“There are numerous restaurant weeks across the state that provide deals for the public and encourage them to dine out,” said RAM President and CEO, Marshall Weston. “The Bethesda- Chevy Chase Restaurant Week is doing even more by giving back to the Yellow Ribbon Fund and showing that RAM members are an elite group of restaurants that are dedicated to their customers, their community and their employees.”

Restaurant Week diners are encouraged to share their experiences and favorite deals on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtags #DineOutMD, #DineforaCause, #BCCWeek, and #YRFund.
